BRIDGE THE GAP – 28TH MAY 2015
This project aims to bring together residents of Camden, from all backgrounds, to participate in an event to celebrate and enhance community harmony regardless of your background or beliefs. The designating day is to recognise and repair relationships which may have broken down, or by reaching out to someone not in our normal circle. It is a day in which we attempt to bridge the many gaps that have occurred in our relationships and community.
RECLAIMING LONDON TOGETHER- 5 MARCH 2012
On 5 March 2012, the Fayre Share Foundation and the Faiths Forum for London hosted Reclaiming London Together at Stamford Bridge Stadium.
The event looked at the causes of and community responses to last summer’s riots, considered the prospects for London’s young people, and examined how charities, faith communities and philanthropists, can collaborate to offer more hope to future generations. Read more →
MAYOR’S INTER-FAITH CONFERENCE – 8 FEBRUARY 2011
On 8 February 2011 the Fayre Share Foundation and the Faiths Forum for London partnered to produce the Mayor’s Inter-Faith Conference. The day-long event, hosted by the Mayor of London at Kings College, London, sought to promote and encourage faith-based initiatives in social action. The day was an opportunity for over 300 hundred participants to share best-practise and current challenges, as well as exploring opportunities for partnership and collaboration. Read more →
